Oh, the places you'll go...

Mommy's cousin Sarah had a big day this past week!  It was her birthday, plus she graduated from elementary school!  It's hard to believe that she is going to be in middle school next year...
Sarah

Aunt Angie and Uncle George had a big celebration all planned!  Sarah had no idea and was really surprised!  She thought she was going fishing, but instead she arrived at the pavilion where many of her friends and family were!  Even her favorite country singer was there!  When she arrived at the party, he sang "Happy Birthday", causing her to tear up and this emotional mommy to cry, too!  It was super sweet!

We were so glad to see everyone at the party.  Papaw Allen, Nana Betty and Uncle Matt were there.  Cousin Katie, Josh and Baby Benelli helped celebrate.  And Papaw and Mamaw Burriss came!

Baby Elli is a month old now!  She just gets cuter and cuter!  Her mommy even painted her toe nails pink for the party.

Waverly loved seeing Elli.  She gave her some kisses and was so gentle!  She's practicing to be a good big sister!

Mamaw Burriss had her little puppy Suzie Q with her.  Waverly was thrilled to pet the small pup.  She also had fun reading her books with Mamaw.  Those two really enjoy each other's company!
Waverly has been busy teething this whole weekend, so to beat the heat and ease the swollen gums, Mommy let her have an ice cold Capri Sun.  Waverly just couldn't believe her good fortune!  Even though Mommy handed her the juice drink, she immediately took it to Papaw to be opened, and then ran to Daddy to hold her.  She wanted protection so she could finish all her juice before the sugar-limited Mommy took it away!  She was so funny!

We had a great time!  We hope that Sarah enjoyed her big day, and that she does well in Middle School, too.  Hitting these milestones just reminds me of how fast little ones grow up!  Baby Elli is already a month old, Waverly is growing up too fast and Sarah's going to middle school!  Her sister Lacie just had a birthday, too!  It seems like time flies by...
