We nap!
We eat!
We sing and dance!

We love spending time together!

It's the Great Pumpkin

I am proud to say that a trip to the pumpkin patch
is an annual tradition.  We have been every year for the past 4 years.
This year, we shared the experience with Aunt Angie, Uncle "Unc" George,
Katie, Josh, Elli, Sarah and Lacie.

Gallrien Farm is our favorite pumpkin patch to visit.
There is so much to see and do.
We visited the petting zoo, posed for some silly pictures,
and checked out lots of HUGE pumpkins!

Harlan was so curious and had to check out everything.
He even took a tractor ride in a barrel!

Who knew that a mountain of hay bales could be so fun?
Reminds me of when I was little and we would play on daddy's farm!

Everyone loved the pony rides.
The highlight of the day was without a doubt watching Waverly ride a horse.
She had her horse picked out, the biggest there, and was determined to ride.
She was so happy!

Wavy had fun just hanging around...

Pumpkins were full grown!
These were some of the biggest pumpkins I've ever seen.
My pumpkins' loved sorting through all the pumpkins and gourds!

Happy Fall, Y'all!

Ahhhhh!

Isn't this the perfect impersonation of the "Home Alone" face?

Duck, Duck, Goose!

As a surprise treat, I took the kids to the game farm this afternoon.
We took a long walk around the lake, watched the ducks swimming, and the people fishing.
But the star attraction was definitely the geese!

The kids thought the geese were just the silliest waddlers they had ever seen!

Harlan chased those poor geese all over the hillside!

They thought it was so funny!

A great way to spend a pretty afternoon!

Cousins...

Cousins are our first best friends.

Birthday Blitz

It was a busy Sunday full of birthdays!

First, a trip out to Pappy's to celebrate Tanner's 4th birthday!

Its hard to believe this little tan-man is already 4 years old!

The kids had a great time playing out on Pappy's playground.

Tanner and Waverly shared toys...
beads and string to make bracelets, and of course a bulldozer.

Next, we all went to Aunt Angie's for
Papaw Burriss' birthday party!
The kids were everywhere, playing and being rambunctious!

It was a great family day!

The "Look"

Her gorgeous smile...

Her imitation of the 'mean mommy look'...

And the best of all...

Her super silly face!

Be afraid, be very afraid...

Ah, all hallow's eve is quickly approaching...
In the spirit of the holiday, we went Halloween shopping!

Daddy found these scary clown masks and the kids had a blast playing in the store.

I can't believe they weren't scared,
but they thought it was the silliest thing ever!
We cackled with laughter at the two of them.

We ended up purchasing two masks...
The kids loved 'honking' their noses
and scaring us so we would give a pretend shriek!

We thought this was just hilarious!
Each morning, they put on their masks,
run into our room to scare us.
We give a pretend scream of surprise,
to which they immediately respond with,
"Its just us!" And we all laugh and laugh!

Mommy's friends are just shocked that we let them have these super scary masks.
But, hey, I said no to this one!

Yo, Yo, Yogurt

One of the favorite snacks around our house is yogurt smoothies.
As yummy as they are, they can also be quite messy.
Our rule is sit down and don't touch the carpet,
a rule that they follow without complaint!

Silly, silly kids.
If yogurt makes them happy,
then bring it on!

Dance as if no one is watching

Dance lesson #6!

We had some fun before heading to dance class!

.

And once there,
we were all smiles!

Wavy even did some warm up ballet for us in the  hall way!

She had much fun tonight!

Kids being kids

So funny to see these two playing together.
Here Wavy is trying to convince Harlan to give her a slobber kiss - yucky!

But oh what a smile!
