Fish Faces

So much fun in the mornings....
(sometimes....)

Fishy face?
Or a duck face?

I like this one the best!

Warm hugs melt a Frozen heart

It's time again for another birthday celebration with our friends,
Annie & Emery, and little brudder Jed!

Since Frozen is by far the most popular Disney fad of the moment,
they had a huge Frozen party!

We had some "cold" snacks...

And plenty of activities!
The kids made their own snow, gathered pieces to "build a snowman" and then had a make your own Olaf contest!

All of the kids had so much fun!
Here is Wavy, gathering all the parts she needs to build a snowman
(pretzels, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and pieces of orange slices and licorice).

Harlan made some snow...

And all of the kids had a blast playing together!

Even though it was raining a little bit...

At least it wasn't freezing rain!  Haha!

A little morning fun!

Since she was so cute in her summer jumper
and we incidentally had a matching hair bow,
I asked to take Wavy's picture this morning.

She couldn't stop being silly long enough for a picture though!

So, Harlan showed her how its done!

We are now Jam Girls!
We love our Jamberry nails.  These are Wavy's!

And here's her "oh!" face!

Adventures on a Thursday night

Thursday nights are usually the night of the week
where we have dance class, so we fit in a quick dinner out on the town.
Since its summer break from dance class,
we thought we'd have a whole night of fun!

First up, a haircut for Harlan!

I know I say it each time he gets a haircut, but I am so proud
of him!  He sits as still as a little old man, just as if he's had hundreds of haircuts!

As long as he gets a sucker,
he will sit just as still and quiet.

Up next, we had a mommy and me supper
at one of our favorite restaurants.

We love chips and queso!!!

And, why not take a few selfies while we wait for our meal?

We can be silly,
and we can be fun!

Happy Thursday, all!

At the movies

Just for a night of fun,
we went out to the drive in for more fireworks and a movie!

Always prepared, we dressed in jammies,
brought pillows and blankies,
and we had our ears covered (just in case it got loud!).

We had so much fun at the movies!

We saw the movie Transformers.
The kids like Bumblebee, but mom's favorite will always be Optimus Prime.

Firecrackers!

Happy 4th of July!

We couldn't miss out on the fireworks,
so we found a good place to park and decided to hang out with friends and family
until it was time to watch the sparks fly!

We were super excited;
especially because we remembered our ear protection!
That may sound kinda silly, but we like playing with
the headsets and we aren't scared of the big booms from the fireworks
with our ears covered.

My little firecrackers were sooo excited this year!
Wavy liked watching the display, but Harlan thoroughly enjoyed himself.

He kept saying, "Fireworks are my favorite!"

We hope everyone had a safe and happy Fourth!

It's a Zoo!

It's our first trip to the zoo!
Pappy & Nana took everyone to the zoo.
We had a great time looking at the animals and enjoying the summer fun!

The elephants were soooo gigantic!
The kids climbed the fence to get a better look!

Ooo, the kids found one of their cousins...
a wild ape!  He liked bananas as much as they do!

Here's one of my very own wild animals...

And the other, lagging a bit behind the group....

It was very warm out today,
so we got a lot of use out of strollers and Granny's wagon.

Our last stop at the zoo was at the carousel!
They must have rode it at least three times!

It was a wonderful time for their first visit to the zoo.
Wavy and Harlan had fun playing with Tanner and Shelby.
We had a great time spending time with family,
even the apes!
