Saturday, Daddy took Waverly and I to several yard sales!
We always go to the 127 yard sale, the longest yard sale in the world. The yard sales stretch from Michigan to Alabama, making up over 675 miles!
Of course, we don't travel the whole sale like some people do. We are fortunate to live in a little town where HWY 127 is the main road! We started at home and worked our way South into Harrodsburg.
My Yard Sale Buddy!
Waverly loves her "ride", aka stroller. She is always happy to go for a stroll, and to shop while riding along? Well, that's just the cherry on top!
Waverly loves her ride so much that she actually fusses when its time to get back in the truck and go to the next sale. She caught on quick that she would get more rides, though.
We were all glad that the day was not too unbearably hot. Daddy treated us to a snack of German Roasted Almonds while we cruised a big field of sales. Waverly enjoyed her snack in the air conditioning!
Besides some tools for Daddy, we didn't find any other treasure to buy. There were lots of furniture and glass bottles and so forth. Eh, maybe next year!
We had a busy day walking around and looking at all the neat stuff. Waverly tuckered out!
