My new friend

Last night, Waverly and I took a trip to Georgetown to visit Mommy's friend, Renae, and her newborn daughter, Olivia. Liv is so fantastically adorable, with a head full of dark hair and beautiful long fingers. She is very sweet.

Baby Liv

Liv is now two weeks old and a whopping 9 pounds! Compared to Waverly, she is so tiny. I had already forgotten how little that is. It was so nice to visit with Renae and her husband. We had a good time talking about being new mommy's and checking out all of the new baby paraphernalia. Liv's nursury is adorable.

Waverly was on her best behavior last night, though we had to take a break from our visit for a snack. She played for a little while and was her cute, entertaining self. Baby Liv was trying to take a nap, so I just held her for a few minutes and passed her back to her mommy. She is so soft!

Waverly was a bit fussy when we got around to picture time. Mommy lost track of time and she was ready to have her cereal. She took a little snooze on the way home and was a good girl all night.

We had such a nice time and hope to visit again soon! I can just picture Waverly and Liv in a few months, playing along together. It is so nice to have little friends!
