I'm a big kid now!

With Papaw,
looking at Mamaw's solar
friends in the flowers.

Waverly is growing everyday, both in size and intelligence. She goes to the doctor soon for a well check and I am anxious to know her height and weight. Depending on the brand, she is wearing 3-6 month old clothes right now. She is a good little model and dress up is Mommy's favorite game.

Waverly, showing Mommy her pretty new clothes.

Holding my own bottle!

A new toy! Waverly is not choosy about what she plays with, though she is gathering quite the collection of toys. She loves her keys and rattles, but this bottle cap held her attention as well. Daddy made special labels for her bottles to take to daycare. They have her name of course, but also little pictures, like this one with a baby and bottle.

Papaw had a good shopping day last week and now Waverly has a high chair. Of course, our little girl needs a little help with a fluffy towel, but she is doing well as a supported sitter. Mamaw fed her cereal and she is doing great, leaning toward the spoon and trying to 'help' by grabbing the spoon herself. Waverly works hard at perfecting those motor skills; as she almost always gets those tiny hands where she wants them. She can even take her pacy, aka "plug", in and out of her mouth with her hands now.

Waverly is a very inquisitive little one. She is never timid or shy about trying something new and receives many praises at daycare for her willingness for new experiences. She now spends time almost every day in a walker or exersaucer. Though not quite tall enough to reach the floor, she does good with a little help from a pillow under her feet and gets lots of exercise for those adorably chubby legs.
After a full day of fun at daycare, Waverly took a little cat nap in the romp room while waiting for Mommy to pick her up.

Waverly still enjoys her tummy time and impresses all with her strength. She is now able to bear some weight on her arms and prop herself up for a good look around. I love her confidence and how proud she seems of her accomplishments.

She is very adored, that's for sure!
