First Day of PreK!

We're so excited for Harlan's first day of school! 

We have cookies for the teachers!

(no harm in sucking up on the first day, right?)

His lunch is packed and ready to go!

Having 2nd thoughts....

But actually at school... he's Mr. Joe Cool

Practice make perfect

Our first soccer practice! 

(Guess who made assistant coach?  Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking either.  I barely recognize a soccer ball.)

This captures one of my favorite moments of all time.  Harlan RAN all the way (and it was quite a ways) in the humid heat of summer, mind you, from his soccer field to where I was with Wavy at her practice.  He jumped in my arms and said, "Did you see me, Momma? Did you see me?"  He was so proud, and he stole my heart. 

They both played really well!  For new soccer players, they learned a lot!

Even though it was hot!
