What a beautiful day!  We had so much fun at Pappy's today!

Since Baby Gail moved, we have been missing her like crazy! 

So, we thought she could use a hug!

I had the kids lay down on craft paper and I traced them with their arms outstretched. 

Then they decorated their "hugs". 

Saturday, oh what a day!

We survived the sleepover!

Pajama Party!

We had a sleepover at Pappy & Nana's!  

The kids loved playing outside...

and practicing their climbing skills!

These three were supposedly in time-out...

but I don't think they thought it was punishment. 

Then we just hung out, and played some games.

Of course, eventually it was bed time. 

We watched a movie before sleeping though!

Feelin' Froggy

The kids have discovered that they both have achieved

expert level skill in catching frogs.  

They LOVE them.  As in, slightly obsessed. 

The poor frogs are held captive in any available container, and they 

try to escape at every given opportunity.  

I wish I could say that they all lived long, happy, fulfilling lives, 

but in the hands of my children, this is not so.  

Mom says, "Free the Frogs!"

Aladdin

Aladdin!

We have so much fun going to plays!

Aladdin was performed by our local middle school and high school students. 

They did great!

Of course, Waverly and Harlan were entertained 

and loved watching the different dancers and the brightness this play has to offer. 

The genie was their favorite!

And we were super duper happy to

see our friend Abby there!

Never underestimate the power of curls

She really wants to have curls in her hair...

but the rollers weren't her favorite idea come night-night. 

Still, she had curls for a bit!

A Day for Mom

What a wonderful Mother's Day!

Waverly made this flower handprint for me at school!

She also answered questions about me...

I think she was a little bit silly, 

because she certainly knows that my favorite color is orange, 

and I'm not a big fan of fish. 

But she certainly got #10 right!  I love her and brudder more than anything!

Then I was surprised with roses, 

one from each of my babies! 

Harlan picked out the red ones, 

and Waverly found the coral ones!

Even more gifts!

I have the best of friends who also spoiled me with 

more roses and a hilariously appropriate card! 

Happy Mother's Day to anyone

who has ever kissed a boo-boo, 

held a child's hand, told a story, 

and hugged with love in their hearts.

It's teacher appreciation week!

Though that means that we make all teachers feel

extra special during this whole week, 

we would like to note that teachers are special every week!

We truly appreciate all that they do and hope that Wavy's
