Trick or Treatin'

We are so excited that it's finally Halloween!

Even though its a wee bit cold out...

In true character, our Queen Elsa

says, "The cold never bothered me anyway."

Elsa, the rest of us are freezing! 

My littlest ghoul was very good at trick or treat

this year!  Harlan took the lead and was quick to hold his bucket out for candy!

Waverly played a bit shy, but had her Daddy there to walk beside.  

We were "thrilled" by a flash mob, 

who broke into spontaneous dance to Thriller!

The kids love zombies, so we were amazed at the dancers!

Mom's rule for Halloween is...

Eat as much candy as you want!

The catch?  You only have tonight. 

After bedtime, the candy will all disappear to parts unknown...

Here is their loot! 

Spook'tacular!

In our excitement for All Hallow's Eve, 

all of the little monsters at daycare dressed up and had a party!

There were tricks and treats!  

Art projects and hot dogs, 

and then all the parents gathered up their goblins 

and headed out for trick or treating!

Date Night!

Date night for me means

time with my little ones!

We have so much fun going to our local restaurants. 

We usually play "I spy... with my little eye" 

while waiting for supper.

We take turns sitting by Mommy,

and we only occasionally sneak a sip of her pepsi! 

Puh, Puh, Puh is for P

This little girl is learning so fast!

She was just playing, stopped herself, and said,

"Mom!  Look!  My legs look like the letter P!"

She is always sounding out her letters now.  

She'll be a bookworm like momma before long!

Duck Lips

Such a pretty profile on my little blonde beauty!

She was practicing her duck lips...

and trying to see herself!  

My happy little pumpkins!

Ah, it's the annual pumpkin painting party!

Nana and Pappy always like having the kids over to 

paint pumpkins and decorate their yard for Halloween!

Harlan is meticulously making a mess!

Tanner is showing his artistic reach!

Shelby prefers bouncing to painting.

Waverly is my little artist!  She expresses herself well in color!

Of course, I just had to join in! I wish you "owl" the best this Halloween!

The boys love sitting in Pappy's chair to watch tv!

The Princess & The Ghost

Queen Elsa is most popular this year...

but of course, I think that Waverly is the prettiest of all. 

And no Halloween is complete without our very own ghoul!

For the 2nd year running, 

Harlan has wanted to be a scary ghost! 

(Wish I'd kept last year's pillowcase!)

Hay is for Horses

A lovely day to spend at the pumpkin patch! 

We measured to see how much we have grown since our trip to Gallrein Farms last year!

Nothing like a barrel ride!

Both kids sat still for their face paint!  Wavy was thrilled to get "fairy glitter"

while Harlan kept it classic with a "pirate" skull & crossbones. 

Up next, the petting zoo! 

They have goats, bunnies, chickens, pigs, and even... 

A camel! 

Harlan made good friends with this camel.  They even have the same smile!

We were all impressed with the size of this pot-bellied piggy!

He was munching on a piece of pumpkin!

The kids loved running, jumping, and climbing the haystacks.  

I think this was one of their favorite parts of the day! 

Hey, Harlan!  Hay is for horses!

Waverly's favorite was, of course, the pony rides!  

Harlan was so silly waiting for his pony to turn around.  

Waverly was living her dream!

She's a natural born rider, 

and adores horses! I hope for riding lessons 

sometime in her future!

Mommy managed to sneak in some hugs and kisses!

 I would apologize for the large number of pictures, 

but honestly, I'm not very sorry! 

It was a lovely day and I hope you enjoyed it too!

CHEESE!

After exhausting ourselves at the park, 

we decided to refuel at Huddle House!

We weren't sure if we wanted to eat grilled cheese, 

or say cheese for the camera!

Playing at the Park

Just warm enough to play at the park for awhile...

We can play on the jungle gyms, 

or practice our driving skills...

Or climb to the highest heights...

Or crawl across the bridge...

Baby Puppy

She loves to hold Charlie like he's a baby!

Twice a day, every day!

If you want your teeth to be nice and bright, 

ya gotta brush, brush, brush 'em, 

both day and night!

Puppy breath is the best.

We are loving our new puppy

and spoiling him rotten! 

Charlie is already a member of the family!

He's only a tiny bit longer than the length of our dvd player remote!
