Yes, they are both couch potatoes.

Silly kids.  They can't get enough cartoons. 

Mommy has had all the Max & Ruby she can stand.

They think that's funny.

And of course, 

there has to be some chillin' on the couch at Angie's house too...

Harlan even recruited cousin Sarah to share his seat! 

When in traffic, do as the traffic does...

Which means, sit in traffic.  

But we didn't let that ruin our fun trip home. 

Both kids hate shoes.  They would much rather run around bare foot and

they do at every chance.  Each day, they strip off socks and shoes in the car.  

And since we were stuck in traffic, 

why not have a tickle fight?

then we will work on some counting...

Keeper of the Marshmallows

Babies in Boxes

What child doesn't like to play in a box? 

These two are super silly.  

They each had to have a box just the right size.

Harlan would try to hide like Sissy... 

peeking just above the edge of the box before popping up! 

Wavy was even brave enough to fold up the lid on herself!

Brudder knew where she was though... 

Wavy and I built Harlan a race car box.  

And then she pushed him all over the house in it!

No.  No, we are not. 

Where are we going?

Waverly's reaction was priceless when I told her we were going 

to see Cinderella.... 

The Disney On Ice show was near our town, 

so we had booked tickets to see Cinderella, 

The Princess & the Frog and Rapunzel.  

Waverly loves her Disney Princesses!

She was so very excited!  

She wanted to leave right then, but we had to wait just a couple of days. 

She was ready to see the "movie".  I can't wait for her to watch the show! 

It's going to be fantastic! 

Pictures of Pictures

Today the kids were so cute coloring together.  

Though Harlan started out driving his truck on his coloring book, 

he figured out that crayons were better tools and

went to work coloring. 

Wavy took a break just long enough for a quick smile!

Summer Days

The kids had a grand time at Lacie's birthday party!

Lacie turned 10!  Yay for double digits!

There was so much to do and everyone loved having all the kids together. 

Waverly and Elli had fun playing on the big kid swings. 

Waverly has learned how to swing just like a big kid!

Oh wait... does that mean she is a big kid now? 

She can get started swinging and pump her legs to go faster.  

Tanner sat with Harlan on the kids' swing.  They had fun together. 

The kids had a blast on the trampoline! 

They jumped to their heart's content!

Harlan even found entertainment under the trampoline...

he picked all the dandelions.

It was such a nice day.

Picnic on the Porch

Wavy talked Baby Gail into a picnic on the porch!

They were so funny playing with each other while eating supper. 

Wavy just enjoyed a nice little visit with Mamaw. 

And, she of course, liked an opportunity to act silly! 

Coloring... Kinda

 Harlan likes to color with markers more than crayons, 

and his favorite color is blue, 

also known as "BOO!"

More often than not, 

he's more interested in being silly.

However, 

coloring is usually a short-lived activity

for such a busy guy.

Night-Night Princess

My night-night princess... 

Wavy has such a great sense of humor.  

Night-night is one of our favorite times of the day. 

We snuggle together and have the best of conversations. 

Me: "I love you to the moon and back."

Wavy: "I love you when the moose comes back."

Wavy: "Sweet Dreams, Momma."

Me:  Heart melts. 

Me: "Settle down and go night night."

Wavy: "Special pet (her first teddy bear!) says night-night too."

Wavy: "Today I grow 3 units!"

Cheri'o, Cheerio!

He's such a boy.  With a snack and a cartoon, 

he's ready to chill on the couch!

Birthday Beans!

Time to celebrate Emery's 2nd Birthday!

The kids loved playing on the water table... 

instead of water, it was filled with beans! Much more fun and much less messy!

Harlan and Annie were preoccupied with the sandbox, 

while Wavy was busy jumping on the trampoline!
