This past weekend was full of birthdays!

Waverly's friend Roxy had her first birthday on Saturday. Mommy and Waverly attended the royal party in honor of Princess Roxy, and a Princess she was, all decked out in Princess gear, crown and all.

What a great party! It was wonderful to see Roxy. She has grown so much and it is difficult to believe she was a preemie baby just 12 short months ago. Roxy was born 11 weeks early, to the proud parents of Russell and Samantha. Beginning at 1 pound, 9 ounces, Roxy has grown to 19 pounds and 28 inches tall in her first year. She is so beautiful and so loved!

We had a great time at the birthday party. There were games and snacks and a huge present table for Roxy. Waverly smiled at everyone there, and even played patty-cake with her other friend, Tori. Waverly was still tired from her shots the day before, so we left before they had cake. Waverly just can't wait for play dates with Roxy!

On Sunday, we had another birthday bash to attend. Grammy Betty's 50th Birthday celebration was a big surprise. They had many guests and a live band. Waverly was all dressed up for the occassion!

Since this was a big day, lots of family traveled to be there. Waverly met more Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Plus, she got to play with cousin Tanner and friends Addison, Anna and Garret. We even took a little detour and went to see Cousin Katie's new house, just down the road from Papaw's.

All too soon, it was time for Waverly to get some rest. She was all ready to snuggle down for the night, so we left the party and headed for home.
