Soccer Try-outs!

Soccer try-outs went pretty well.

They both started out a little timid, 

but then saw how much fun it could be!

Even in a dress and boots, 

she did well!

First Day of Kindergarten!

Wakey, Wakey Eggs & Bakey!

It's the first day of school! 

I may have decorated to celebrate her first day... 

She was surprised!

And of course, I had went all out with arts and crafts so 

I could take adorable pictures of my kindergartener!

It's solid advice... 

Starting this school-thing out right, 
I, of course, had to drive her to school on her first day!

Kindergarten, here I come!

With just a couple of days left before school starts, 

the time has come to visit Waverly's classroom and tour the school!

She's really excited for Kindergarten, and only a little bit nervous.  

She found her desk right away!

We had to visit the gym to see what all that would be about!

And of course, tour the library! 

On the night before the first day of school, 

we read the new going to Kindergarten book her teacher gave her

and we sprinkled magic fairy confetti under her pillow to ensure a good night's rest. 

Mommy & me bracelets for my girl! This way, if we miss each other on her first day of school, we can look at our bracelets and know we love each other. Plus, they have little elephants because 'an elephant never forgets'!

For a special mommy & me date, Waverly and I went to Uptown Art for a painting class! 

She did the majority of the painting and color mixing all on her own!

I think she shows amazing talent for only 5 years old!
