I have been involved in a Sew Club since January of this year.
It's basically several girls in our thirties who like to sew together.
We take turns playing hostess and choosing a project, everyone
brings their sewing machines and fabric, and we learn how to sew it together!
The little kids, and a first-time sewer, Heather, wanted to have
a mini-sew club to learn some basics! We made pillow cases.
Heather & Abby ironing...
Harlan made it about 20 minutes into sew club
before opting for a cartoon and nap instead. Silly boy...
Amanda helped teach measuring skills!
I braved teaching about pinning...
The finished projects were great!
Everyone had fun!
Wavy was so proud of her pillow case.
She wrote a letter to Baby Gail.
It says, "I know how to sew."
Harlan was equally pleased with his pillow case...
It was just like magic how it was all finished during his nap!
