Harlan has ran a fever all day!
Despite doses of tylenol, cool wash rags and a luke-warm bath,
this fever was persistent!
Even though it was late at night and our sleepy boy was resting,
when his fever hit 103.2, Momma said let's go to the hospital and get checked out!
Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville was fantastic.
Luckily, we caught the emergency room at a lull in activity and we only had to wait a short while.
The nurse in triage gave Harlan some Motrin and we were off to the waiting area to play!
There were so many helping hands. A nice hospital worker gave Harlan some stickers and crayons. Plus, we had games and cartoons!
Harlan had a very thorough check by the doctor.
He had just the smallest start of an ear infection.
The motrin helped his fever come down and we were back home and on antibiotics before we knew it!
