Rolling is sooo over

Now I am all about crawling!

Waverly is ready to crawl! Instead of rolling over to reach a toy, she is scooting along and really covering some ground. She is trying so hard. She can move around so much now, working those little arms and legs.

She will stick that cute tushy in the air and wiggle those chubby legs to get where she wants to go. She is still dragging her tummy on the floor, but she is no longer skidding along on her face! She has learned to keep her head up high in the air to see where she is going.


Scooting along to reach Papaw.
This picture reminds me of a picture I have of when I was little, laying in the floor with my Papaw. If I can find it, I'll add it to the blog.

The puppy was so jealous that Waverly was in the floor and Papaw was playing with her. Baby just had to come over to say hello. Waverly wanted to pet her, but Baby is getting up in her years so it was a closely supervised moment. Baby did good though and even let Waverly pet her for a minute.

I got him!

Then Papaw could pull Waverly along so she could slide around on her tummy! What fun!

We fully expect for Waverly to pick that tummy up off the ground soon, and then the chase is on!
