Congrats to Mommy and Baby Bean!
We've made it to 33 weeks (by the doctor's count, though Mommy is convinced we are about two weeks ahead of schedule)!

Baby Bean is now the size of a honeydew melon!
He weighs about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. And he may grow up to a full inch this week -- amazing.
This week, Baby is keeping his eyes open while awake. He's also starting to coordinate breathing with sucking and swallowing. His bones are hardening. And he's going through (more) major brain development -- that's one smart baby!
Mom is hanging in there! I can vouch that pregnancy brain (along with a healthy dose of Mommy brain) is a real thing, seeing as how I have trouble remembering things now. I am also appreciative of the cool weather outside, and I do fuss at others for cranking the heat inside. Both my hands and feet are swollen.
And let me tell you, I'm a big girl now! Really big! I mean it! I can't see my feet!
With all that fun, I am truly enjoying preparing for Harlan's arrival! We have Daddy and Papaw working on his room, and Mamaw Jean working on baby blankets. Mamaw Gail has been busy getting us organized. Everyone's pitching in to work on that "Honey Do" list! And Waverly is just the sweetest when we talk about 'brother'. She will feel the baby and give my tummy big kisses!
