We spent a wonderful day

enjoying the outdoors at Pappy's!

The kids love to fish and to look at the ducks in the pond.

We just love playing with our cousins!

Shelby & Tanner were wonderful hosts for an outside lunch!

Harlan even helped Pappy with the yard work...

He is quite the helper when he wants to be!

She fell asleep reading Beauty & the Beast!

I still fall asleep reading, and I hope that the love of reading is instilled in my children

as much as it is a part of me.

Locks of Fun

One thing that we do well is hair cuts!

Harlan is a rock star in this department, 

always sitting so still and never fussing.

I have heard so many horror stories of little boys 

getting hair cuts, but not this little one!

He is reminiscent of a little old man, 

sitting in the chair and asking the hairdresser to dust off his neck!

Wavy prefers for momma to trim her golden locks!

I do not mind this at all!  It's an easy trim, even though this time

we did cut a couple of inches.  It will grow back so fast. She loves to pretend to be Rapunzel!
