We love going out for Mommy-Kid dates!

Today it was the grocery store and out to eat! 

We took some pictures while waiting for our food to arrive. 

Lots of cheeses!

Sissy even shown her Princess best.

And then we enjoyed a nice dinner...

As if I don't say it often enough...

these are two of the sweetest kids!

They always choose to sit beside each other.

Though there are times when they fight and bicker, 

yes, even at the ages of 3 and 1,

they more often than not choose to be close and cuddly!

My Lil' Princess

Princess Wavy!

She has been dancing and singing, 

all while wearing her favorite princess crown. 

Friends on the Fourth!

With no plans for Independence Day, 

and a rainy, almost gloomy, afternoon ahead of us, 

we spent the day with our dear friends, "Aunt" Katie and Abby Kate. 

Aunt Katie came over in time for lunch and then we enjoyed swinging on the porch!

Abby was great at playing with Wavy and Harlan.

And Wavy had a, err, shocking, conversation with Aunt Katie... 

though I'm fairly certain they were just making faces at each other.  :)

Since Aunt Katie doesn't like her house to get messy, 

Abby doesn't often get to play with paint.  So we of course,

painted pictures and made handprint art!

It was a great afternoon!

Harlan even got to play with his favorite toy...
