A Little Bit of Waverly

Caught a little bit of Waverly on video last night...

She demonstrates her "Go Fast!", her conversation on a "hello", and some animal sounds.  She was all wound up and ready to show off last night!

 This girly is all about her cars!

She will take off just as soon as she sees one of her cars.  She loves to ride, be pushed along or just sit around and honk the horn!

Waverly will be a really good driver with all this early practice...

My Day at Nana Pam's

When I am at work, sitting in my quiet, little office, I often wonder, "What's my little girl doing?"

Nana Pam surprised me with several pictures of Waverly from yesterday...

Looks like 'lil Miss Hollywood stars in several shows during the day... here showing how to ride her rocking horse in style...

And then, lunch time, of course!  Must have been a spaghetti day! 

 For dessert?  Waverly's favorite yogurt smoothies! 

In the afternoon, Waverly played with building blocks, too!  They were building a whole city when I arrived!  It sure was a busy day!

Mangos are better than apricots!

Baby Bean is the size of a Mango!

And of course, mangos are much better than apricots!

Funny note... I hadn't checked to see what fruit we were at this week until this morning.  But last night, we had mango with our salad!  It was super yummy!

This week, Baby Bean has developed a fur coat!  Actually, its called vernix caseosa, which coats baby's skin to protect it against amniotic fluid.  After a nine + month bath, baby's going to need some protection!

Let the heartburn begin!  Mom is doing well with just a touch of heart burn last night.   I had a ton of heartburn with Waverly.  As the myth goes, that could be a sign of a head full of hair on this kiddo!  We'll be taking your guesses on the amount of hair Baby Bean will have.  What do you think - more or less than Waverly was born with?

Bowl of Sunshine

What a wonderful weekend!

On Friday night, our little family went out to a nice dinner with our friends.  We had missed seeing the McElroys for the past couple of weeks! 

On Saturday, Waverly and I went to see Papaw Allen.  He had not been feeling well, so we went to make sure he was getting his rest!  Papaw looks like he is doing great!  It was nice to visit with Papaw, Nana, Amy, Matt, Tanner, Aunt Melba and cousin Rachel. 

This kids had a great time playing together...

They ran and jumped and played with the riding toys!

They were both super excited to play with a new car.  One of the cars ended up coming home with us and now I can't get Waverly out of it!  She loves to drive, that's for sure!

Tuckered out?  Nah, they're faking!

Saturday night, Waverly had Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Re rolling with laughter as she tried to sit in a bowl.  How adorable!

That's a bowl full of happiness, if I ever saw one!

Sunday was a lazy day.  Waverly and I did laundry and then visited with Daddy after a long nap.  A quick trip to the grocery store for mom while Waverly stayed with Papaw and Mamaw.  Then we had a big family dinner.  What a good way to end the weekend!
